Bel Air Presbyterian Preschool provides a primarily full-day, Christian-oriented Preschool program (with limited part-time availability) that benefits the child, family, community and church. We recognize the need for children to interact with other children, their need for loving, specially-trained teachers and their need to have God be an integral part of their lives. We talk about how God made the world and the beauty in it that comes from Him. We talk about how He cares for each of us. We pray as teachers and we give the children many opportunities to pray as well.
our purpose
Our purpose is to provide a safe, loving, nurturing environment that preserves the experience of childhood through a carefully planned Christian program. We provide a quality, developmental curriculum that fosters the spiritual, social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth of each child. Our curriculum is centered to be emergent and meet the needs of the individual child, to be “hands-on” and allow children to learn through experience.
Our commitment as a staff is to come alongside you as parents and to support your role as you face the early years of your child’s growth and development.
Bel Air Presbyterian Preschool is a non-profit, interracial and non-political institution founded by Bel Air Presbyterian Church. In 1995, Bel Air Presbyterian Preschool was accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs, a division of NAEYC. Our staff members are experienced Early Childhood Educators and participate in a continuous program of educational development.
